It’s been over a year since this blog was updated. Not because i’ve not been taking pictures, rather the opposite. I’ve been continuing to learn and develop the skills necessary to utilise the wet plate collodion process and complimentary antiquarian printing processes in my work. I think i’m now at a point where i am […]
There are many, many processes in the world of Wet Plate Collodion photography and at every stage there are potential disasters lying in wait. It’s the exact opposite of iPhoneography but just like iPhoneography it is a means to an end. Great images, great art.
Knox Bronson and colleague did a walk through of the new iPhoneography exhibition that’s at the Los Angeles Center for Digital Art. It’s on till 5th May. It’s pretty cool seeing these iphone shots printed out this big. They look great. My own black and white nudes appear very near the end so hang in […]

I like B+W shots and am constantly trying out new processes to get the tones and look I am after in an image. My go to app is usually Film Lab then some tweaking in Iris or Filterstorm but of late I’ve also been playing with Nik software’s Snapseed. I kind of like what snapseed […]
I got a message on flickr the other day asking if I was keeping all my iphone shots for my books. The chap hadn’t realised that most of my flickr from last two years is actually all iphone. However, it made me think. I actually don’t put alot of stuff up on flickr. In fact […]
